Deaths due to COVID-19 reach 21 at Turkey

Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced on his Twitter this Saturday that 12 died in one day due to the deadly virus, making Turkey’s total virus deaths 21. Koca added that 277 new cases were detected, making the total cases 947. Koca said that all the deaths so far were people of old age and asked for the older population to heed the warnings being made by the Government to stay at home.

Turkey’s Interior Ministry announced earlier today that as of Sunday morning, “restrictions” would be put on place to limit citizens over the age of 65 to go out to public spaces.
